CMP Southern Ontario AGM Announcement

Join us Wednesday, October 11th for our first ever social event and Thursday, October 12th for the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Canadian Mineral Processors Southern Ontario Branch! The event will take place at the Toronto Steam Whistle venue (255 Bremner Blvd Bay 6, Toronto, ON M5V 3M9. Details on the pre-AGM social get together will be announced closer to the event, but will be downtown Toronto!

The meeting will begin with a networking lunch at noon, followed by presentations covering this year’s theme of technology and innovation. The day will wrap up with drinks, snacks, and a guest speaker.

Want to present at the meeting? We are looking for 20 minute technical presentations with a focus on innovation and projects (no written paper required). This is a great opportunity to exchange technical information and to show the students all the exciting opportunities available in the mining and mineral processing industry. Registration and Payment Online: Registration and payment will be through Eventbrite, no registration at the door. Registration will go live by July 1st, so stay tuned for the link.

PRICING

Registration fees (including Eventbrite fees) will be:

  • $200 plus HST for event day
  • or $220 plus HST for event day plus drink tickets for the October 11th pre-AGM event.

Sponsorship: Sponsors are essential to the success of this event! Not only do our sponsors enable us to hold this wonderful event, but more importantly they allow us to promote the industry by supporting students who represent the future of mineral processing. We sponsor students to come to our annual meeting, provide scholarships to deserving students and fund undergraduate mineral processing programs for specific projects.

Five tiers of Sponsorship are available this year:

  • Platinum ($5,000)
  • Gold ($3,500)
  • Silver ($2,000)
  • Copper ($1,000)
  • Event ($500)
