Mineral Processing Scholarship

 

Scholarship awarded by the Canadian Mineral Processor’s Toronto Branch

 

Eligibility

  • Any full-time student from South Western Ontario that is entering
    mineral processing at one of the schools noted below

 

Qualifications

  • Interest in and expressed knowledge of the role of the mineral processor
    in today’s society
  • Academic standing

 

Eligible Institutions

  • Haileybury School of Mines, Northern College
  • Queen’s University
  • Laurentian University
  • University of Toronto

 

Amount

  • One scholarship in the amount of $2,500

 

Application Requirements

  • Letter of referral from a professor in the Mineral Processing Department 
  • Essay on the social responsibilities of the mineral processor in today’s environment, not more than 400 words
  • Resume
  • An official, sealed copy of your current academic transcript
